Heat transfer intensification and energy integration optimisation in heat exchangers for waste heat recovery in the chemical industry

Project of the Ministry of Education and Science - INTER-EXCELLENCE programme

The main purpose of the project is to develop technical solutions and software for the design of heat exchange facilities with increased heat transfer efficiency and thus improve the utilisation of waste heat in large-scale chemical industry plants. The project also addresses the possibility of further utilisation of waste heat after the production of raw materials or transformation of substances.

The project is carried out in collaboration with the commercial and academic sectors in the Czech Republic and China. For the Czech side the main investigator is Brno University of Technology, for the Chinese side the main investigator is Xi'an Jiaotong University.
