Prototype unit for the energy utilisation of different types of biomass

A consortium of Czech companies (EVECO Brno, s.r.o., VHS Brno, a.s., ROmiLL, s.r.o.) together with the Brno University of Technology, FME Institute of Process and Ecological Engineering has developed a new and completely original modern technology for biomass combustion, which is characterized by the integration of proven technological and technical solutions into an efficient technological unit. The prototype unit enables the combustion of a wide range of biomass fuels while maximizing heat utilisation.

The research and development of this unit was supported by the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Czech Republic under the Impuls FI-IM3/166 project.
