Feasibility study for the WtE unit in Planá nad Lužnicí

A feasibility study has been prepared for the Planá nad Lužnicí heating plant, focusing on the possibilities of future energy utilisation of waste by building a 40 kt/year WtE plant. This solution was proposed because of the requirement to move the area away from landfilling and to reduce the dependence of the heating plant on fossil fuel supplies. The study included a description of the legislative framework, an evaluation of the data obtained and a technical description of the solution, including a technological and layout diagram, and an economic analysis of the project.
