Turn key delivery of DeSOx technology based on dosing of dry adsorbent into the flue gases was executed on coal fired boilers K5 and K8. Adsorbent – sodium bicarbonate is milled on very fine fraction using a powder mills and consequently, it is transported into the flue gases using a radial fans.

Advantage of this technology is possibility of switching adsorbent transport routes that rises an operational reliability. It is possible to dose adsorbent into arbitrary coal boiler (K5 and K8) using an arbitrary line (L1 or L2). In case of fault on active line, there is a possibility to switch lines and dose adsorbent into the boiler using a second line.
